Fire Alarm Technician

Job Description

A leader in Fire and Security systems for 93 years. L.W. Bills Company is an Employee Owned Company (ESOP) located in Georgetown, Mass. Currently looking for a great employee, seeking a long term position as an Electrical and Fire Alarm Technician. Candidate must currently hold a Journeyman Electrician License in Massachusetts or a Master Electrician License.


 


Job Details:



  • Assisting in terminating electrical panel, set fixtures, outlets and various electrical devices.

  • Responsible for pulling electrical wiring through electrical conduit.

  • Cutting, bending, threading and running ", " and 1" electrical conduit materials. Experience bending offsets, 3 points, 4 points, saddles, kicks, 90's, etc.

  • Dependable with attention to completing projects.

  • The ability to read Blue Prints.

  • Commercial Fire Alarm Service and Maintenance.


 


Qualifications:



  • Journeyman Electrician License in Massachusetts or Master Electrician License.

  • Valid drivers license.

  • Able to pass Mass Cori.

  • Previous experience in fire alarm, maintenance, or other related fields is required.

  • Familiarity with hand and power tools.

  • Have the ability to handle physical workload, including climbing ladders, stairs and running wires.

  • With strong trouble shooting and critical thinking skills and a strong attention to details.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
